OFFICE won 1st place in "Interior of the Year / Golden Palette '25" for the best office interior

The YCL studio team won 1st place in the competition "Interior of the Year / Golden Palette '25" in the best office interior category.

The awarded project stood out for its clear spatial structure, planning based on the experience of employees, and subtle materiality. During the design, the space was divided into two functions - representative and work. No fences, no walls, no boundaries.

"When designing our office, we had the opportunity to formulate our needs very precisely and test them in practice. We sought to create a space that would not only meet our aesthetic approach, but would also actually function in the daily activities of the team," says studio partner Tomas Umbrasas.

Great attention was paid to acoustics, natural light, and ergonomics in the project. All this allows us to ensure not only visual comfort, but also high quality of work.

“When designing this office, we thought about ourselves as users – how we work, how we communicate, how our daily rhythm changes. This allowed us to make very informed decisions and create an environment that naturally supports our work processes,” adds studio partner and project architect Tautvydas Vileikis.

The space was created for long-term use, so priority was given to comfort, ergonomics and timeless aesthetics.

“This interior is conceptual and deliberately minimalist – we abandoned everything that is not necessary in order to highlight the logic and materiality of the space itself. Since the office is intended for our own activities, it naturally became YCL studio’s calling card – a space that represents our approach to architecture and interior design,” says studio partner Aidas Barzda.

This assessment confirms YCL studio’s direction – to create durable, functional and aesthetically refined interiors that create value for both business and people.
