YCL studio's RETRICI project won the "Mano Erdvė 2023" award for best apartment interior

On November 29, 2023, the winners of the architecture and interior design competition “My Space” were announced. The RETRICI project, implemented by the YCL studio team, became the laureate in the apartment interior category. This award marks the studio’s consistent work in creating conceptually and functionally integrated living spaces.

In the RETRICI interior, the main focus is on the geometry and materiality of volumes. The project is based on a clear structure of zones, in which light and shadows become equivalent design elements. Instead of decorativeness, a strategy of purity of materials was chosen – the dialogue of concrete, wood and metal creates a calm but characteristic environment that meets the needs of a modern city dweller.

This award confirms the direction of YCL studio – to create exceptional spaces that go beyond standard interior solutions. The studio’s ability to integrate complex engineering solutions into minimalist aesthetics allows for a result that is not only visually attractive, but also has a high lasting value.
